Age 18+, valid U.S. driver’s license, background check, reliable vehicle, smartphone and a smoke-free home. Plan on a 4.2-cu.-ft. or larger washer, a dryer and a clean, pet-free folding space. You need to handle 20–30 lb and stairs safely. No degree or certification required.

Hampr serves select U.S. markets. Check your address on its customer pricing page for service coverage, then use the worker application to check onboarding. Hampr may put applications on hold when a market isn’t recruiting. Approval doesn’t tell you how many orders you’ll see.

Payout timing
Weekly Friday direct deposit for orders delivered Thursday through Wednesday at 5 p.m. Central, per Hampr’s worker guide. A job after cutoff can fall into the next cycle. A minimum balance, separate first-deposit hold and withdrawal fee weren’t confirmed in the public worker guidance.

Hampr advertises “up to $500/week” in its worker recruitment material. It doesn’t show how many loads, miles or hours that takes or what’s left after expenses. I wouldn’t use it to plan a week’s income.

Illustrative estimate. Assumes equipment already owned, one order, no tolls, parking, equipment depreciation, onboarding fees, or paid fast transfer. Actual expenses, order size and time will differ.
Order size: 4 standard loads (about 60 lb total); Hampr pays per load, not by weight.
Rate assumption: Assume a local base price of $13 per load; this is an example, not a verified local quote.
Gross worker payout: 4 loads × $13 × 70% = $36.40 before expenses; no tip or bonus included.
Pickup and drop-off mileage: Customer is 2 miles away. Pickup round trip: 4 miles; return round trip: 4 miles; total: 8 miles.
Estimated driving cost: 8 miles × $0.50/mile = $4.00. This is a budgeting assumption for fuel and vehicle wear, not a tax mileage rate.
Supplies and utilities: $2.40 for detergent and packing supplies + $3.60 for water, sewer and energy = $6.00.
Active work time: 30 min driving and handoffs + 75 min sorting, loading, transferring, folding, packing and app updates. Total: 105 minutes (1.75 hours).
Machine run time: Assume four 35-minute washer cycles (140 machine minutes) and four 50-minute dryer cycles (200 machine minutes). Cycles can overlap; these aren’t active minutes or a door-to-door elapsed-time estimate.
Estimated earnings after expenses, before taxes: $36.40 − $4.00 driving − $2.40 supplies − $3.60 utilities = $26.40.
Estimated earnings per active hour: $26.40 ÷ 1.75 active hours = $15.09.
Optional tip, excluded: A hypothetical $5 tip adds $5 to the example total. Don’t budget around it.
