Union City Events This July

Union City kicks things off with Backyard Blends: Summer Harvest Festival on Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Gathering Place. This one is part of the city’s new Growing Together initiative, so expect wellness sessions like pilates and a full body blast, live gardening demonstrations, smoothie tastings, a farmers market, and free seeds to take home.

Later in the month, Union City brings back its Light Up the Night Laser Light Show and Back to School Bash on Saturday, July 18, at Ronald Bridges Park, 5285 Lakeside Drive. Billed as Union City’s most lit night of the year, this one comes with a laser light show, a live DJ, games and activities, back to school resources, and fun for the whole family.

East Point Events This July

East Point keeps things going every single week with its Eats and Beats series. On Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., head to Downtown Commons for the East Point Farmers Market version, with local vendors, live music, food trucks, and family friendly activities. Fairburn Events This July

Fairburn has a packed calendar this month. If you are reading this today, catch the Summer Soccer Watch Party at noon at Frankie Arnold Stage and Courtyard. Because the Fairburn Flava Friday Food Truck Series returns twice this month, on July 10 and July 24 from 5 to 8 p.m., you get two chances to grab dinner from a truck. Both nights bring live music downtown too.
